HOW HEDGEBUILDERS/A+ WORKS HEDGEBUILDERS/A+ uses an off site proxy server, located at Clearwater Christian College, which is a fancy way of saying that your requests to the net are first filtered through their computers, which takes less than a second. Just the web addresses your computer requests are checked through the proxy and nothing else. The advantage of the proxy server is that, once you set HB up on your computer, you never have to do anything else again. You can also be assured that the system is up to date always. Since it uses a proxy server, it also works well for laptops and notebooks as they roam from one public access network to another. All of your Internet will still be filtered no matter where you go. Sites are filtered based on content and theme, not just on "keywords" or ratings. For example, if you're searching for "Human Sexuality," your search will return every site which contains every aspect of human sexuality.
